Review:

Election is a 1999 released movie which presents an incident of high school election. The movie refreshes the memory of high school. The rush, hustle-bustle, assignment breakup, and friendship.

The movie is focused on the election for the president of the Student Government.

Initially, there was the only candidate running for president. The single candidate was Miss Tracy Flick who is very intelligent, achievers and participate in every activity of the school.

One of the teacher Mr.Jim McAllister thinks it's not good to have a president without little or more competition.

People should have chance to choose their leader and that is called Democracy. Democracy is like to have option to choose an apple from several fruits. So, Mr. Jim encourages very popular student Mr. Paul Metzier to stand on Election.

After several events. there are more candidates standing on Election. They get busy with their Election Campaign.

During assembly one of the candidate gains a lot of claps and cheers when she promise there will be no more assembly.

Other candidates promise a lot of things from their side. For a moment I thought Miss Jammy will win the presidential race for Student Government.

Despite Miss Tracy won the election, Mr. Jim manipulates the result and announces Mr. Paul as the elected President. Anyway, there was tough competition among the two candidates.

Later, Tit for Tat happens, when Mr. Jim is fired for his deed.

Miss Tracy become the president. She was called over-achiever sometime. And those type of person may develop an ego problem which needs to be solved. Mr. Jim tried something like that, it was an unsuccessful business for him.

People do not have an idea of how lucky they are when they get whatever they desire to have. They can use their time to make their future better.

One thing I would like to mention about Tracy is that she utilizes her privilege for making her future bright.

Unlike rich spoiled kids, she is ambitious and wanna be successful.
