Review:
Snowpiercer is a 2013 action movie directed by Bong Joon-Ho where the world is frozen and inhabitable to live so survived people live on a
very long train where people struggles to live.
In today's modern world the society is divided into different
classes. The first class enjoys all types of luxuries in their life whereas
the third class just spend their whole life in an attempt to fulfil their
basic need.
Every element in the movie is presented in such a way that
one can relate to something in their life. The train can be related to life
as a journey. As the world is inhabitable, the entire world is fit into the
train. Shopping Mall, Disco, Tailor, swimming pool garden, bar, etc is placed
into the train. Facilities and luxuries are given place inside the train for
rich but for poor people miserable life.
There are different sections on the train. The most underprivileged
is given less space. The tail section struggles to live and also angry with
the treatment of front section people.
The revolt initiated by Mr Curtis is the struggle of underprivileged
people to have a better life. The first-class people possess all types of
resources and can easily suppress the poor people by using their advantages. The same thing is in real life. The third class people struggle never ends. Instead
the gap between rich and poor are increasing.
Nobody works for the welfare of the people rather they work
for their own interest.
Every upcoming event is thrilling and full of surprises in
the movie. The way the excitement of a particular scene is enhanced, by using
slow motion and expression of the actors, is quite amazing. The movie
presents the harsh reality of the modern world in the plot of a running train
with simplicity.
